From I-95 North, take Exit 22 toward Bath/Brunswick. Follow Route 1 North to Wiscasset, then continue to Edgecomb and take the Route 27 South exit toward Boothbay Harbor. Follow Route 27 through Boothbay Harbor and continue to East Boothbay, then take Ocean Point Road to the tip of the peninsula. Detailed directions with exact GPS coordinates will be sent with your booking confirmation.

The property has a private gravel driveway that comfortably fits 4 vehicles. Please do not park on Ocean Point Road. If you're arriving with more than 4 cars, let us know in advance and we'll coordinate additional parking options nearby.

Rocky Coast Rentals will ensure the house is ready for you and respond to any questions or needs you may have during your stay.

The house is fully stocked with linens, bath towels, and beach towels. You'll want to bring: groceries and beverages, sunscreen, layers for cool evenings, good walking shoes and water shoes for the rocks and beach, and your binoculars. The kitchen is stocked with dish soap, dishwashing tabs, paper towels, coffee, coffee filters, tea and other pantry items. All bathrooms have hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and toilet paper.

Beach towels, four SUP (stand up paddleboards) and life vests, a selection of beach chairs, cooler and big supply of yard games to enjoy in the large yard.

You’ll find several convenient options for groceries and specialty foods within a short drive of your stay. Hannaford Supermarket is the closest full-service store (about 10 minutes away), while nearby favorites like Farm 23 offer exceptional baked goods and breakfast items, and Pinkham’s Gourmet Market is perfect for high-quality meats, fresh seafood, and prepared foods (including fresh-steamed lobster with advance order). For lighter provisions and local flavor, East Boothbay General Store and Eventide Specialties provide specialty items, wine, and ready-to-enjoy meals, while Brown’s Farm Stand and the weekly farmers market on the Boothbay Town Green are great for fresh local produce. If you prefer to relax, our management team can also arrange pre-arrival grocery stocking or even a private chef experience.

The house has high-speed fiber WiFi (100+ Mbps) — plenty for streaming and video calls. Cell service is decent for AT&T and Verizon; T-Mobile coverage is spottier at the tip of the peninsula. The WiFi password is in the welcome binder. We have desks with direct CAT internet lines located throughout the house providing the most reliable service.

There is a strict no pets allowed policy.

Maine coastal summers are glorious but unpredictable. July and August average highs in the low-to-mid 70s°F with cool evenings (50s–60s). Pack layers no matter the season. Fog and overcast days are part of the Maine experience — they give the coast its moody, dramatic character. June can be beautiful but shoulder season means cooler water. September and October are often stunning with fewer crowds.
